Alex Clark, FNP-BC
Primary Care Provider (Adults and Children)
"I take pride in working with my patients to help them understand their health and make smart choices. It's a big responsibility, but it's also a privilege to guide them through all the different stages of their lives."
Alex Clark, FNP-BC is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who received her nursing degree from Columbia University. As a bi-lingual (English and Spanish) primary care provider in New York City, Alex has experience treating children through senior adults—focused on individualized relationship-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally-competent care—from all social and economic backgrounds. Before joining the Union Health Center, her previous clinical roles have included in-home patient assessments, 911 medical triaging, urgent care, telemedicine, and caring for Alzheimer’s and dementia patients and hospice. Her passion and creativity drive her approach to preventative care and functional medicine, with a focus on comprehensive care of chronic diseases, mental health, and women’s health. She also prioritizes patient education and is a guest lecturer for future nurses and nurse practitioners at several universities.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys powerlifting and biking, being an avid baseball fan (Let’s Go Mets!), and loves being at the beach (while wearing sunscreen!).
